Race Bank & Docking Shoal

Establishment of Oceanographic data buoy.

Mariners are advised the deployment of an oceanographical data buoy has been established in the following position.

Docking Shoal Oceanographic buoy

53° 09.04'N 000° 51.34'E Yellow buoy Gp. Fl (5).Y.20s range 2 miles

It is expected that the data buoy will remain on station for the working life of the buoy estimated to be 15 years.

Mariners are requested to keep a sharp lookout when navigating in the area and to keep clear of the lightbuoy.
