Approaches to King's Lynn

Water Sampling Operations.

Mariners are advised that on Wednesday 4th November 2009, the Environment Agency will be carrying out water sampling operations at various locations in the River Great Ouse and the eastern Wash as far as Hunstanton.

The sampling of tracers that are being used to monitor the dispersion of discharges into the Wash will be carried out by a small boat between the hours of 09:00 and 16:00. The boat will maintain a listening watch on VHF Ch. 14.

Mariners are requested to keep a lookout for the craft and pass at reduced speed whilst it is carrying out sampling.
